To mark 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and International Human Rights Day, Women Act organized a panel discussion on the Role of Private Sector for the Prevention and Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls on December 10, 2017. Representatives from government, private sector, academia, media and rights activists were present at the event. This event was organized as part of Women Act’s Private Sector Partnerships Campaign and was supported by Nepal Bangladesh Bank, Bank of Kathmandu, Himalayan Bank Ltd., Civil Bank Ltd. and Hide and Seek Kindergarten.
