Women Act implemented a USAID/The Asia Foundation funded “Mitigate Conflict and Improve Implementation of Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) Policies through a People-to-People Approach in Nepal (in short, CMM-GESI) project. The project covered 10 districts of Nepal, including seven of the fourteen earthquake-affected districted; Kathmandu, Kaski, Kailali, Sindhuli, Accham, and Ramechhap, Dolakha, Nuwakot, Ruswa, and Dhading. The goal of the proposed project was to mitigate caste and gender conflict and improve the efficacy of GESI policy and program implementation in Nepal. This was a 3-year project started from 2016.
