Women Act successfully conducted a Bagmati Province-Level Two-Day Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme on 29–30 May 2026 in Hetauda, Makwanpur under the Chanels Project.
The training brought together project staff and members of the Community of Practice (CoP) Network to strengthen their knowledge and facilitation skills in digital literacy, marketing, branding, market management, and e-commerce. The programme aimed to develop skilled trainers who can support women entrepreneurs and project beneficiaries in accessing market opportunities and adapting to the digital economy.
Over the two days, participants took part in interactive sessions, practical exercises, group discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities. The training focused on the use of digital tools, effective branding and marketing strategies, improved market management practices, and the use of e-commerce platforms to expand business opportunities.
The programme also provided an opportunity for participants from across Bagmati Province to exchange experiences, discuss challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, and explore practical solutions to strengthen economic opportunities for marginalised and at-risk women and girls.
