Team Leader

Ms. Sajina Karki is a practicing lawyer and working as a Team Leader for ‘Improving Women’s Access to Justice in the Context of COVID-19 in Nepal’ project funded by UNDP under Enhancing Access to Justice through Institutional Reform Project (A2J). Before joining Women Act, Ms. Karki was working as an Attorney at Public Law Form. She has worked as a Legal Advisor for a Podcasting Training Organized by iHub Kathmandu and Dynamic Youth Forum supported by US Embassy Nepal. Similarly, she has also worked at Legal Aid and Consultancy Center (LACC) as an Advocate. She has been lobbying for various issue of gender equality and runs a Facebook group “Alliance Against Women Trafficking & Violence” that helps to give free legal aid to women in Need. She is a pro-active blogger and loves to express her voice through her blog. Ms. Karki has Masters in Gender Studies and Bachelors of Law (LL.B.) from Tribhuvan University.
